The image above depicts our production company logo "Fearless Films" after our own production name. We decided to go with a simplistic design much like most professional logos. Ours is composed of 2 transformed "F" shapes which are positioned so that the blank space left would create the letter "S" which signified the "Studios" in our full production name - Fearless Films Studio. This full name will be present at the beginning of the opening sequence.
Furthermore the gradient colour mask of the logo is another representation of our company as it visually represents our tagline " Go Beyond The Dark" where the darker lower half shows the "Dark" and the upper lighter shade creates the "Light"
To finish the logo off I wanted to add the company name underneath to imitate famous production companies like "Dream Works" and "Working Title" which all feature their production company names.

Finally we wanted to animate our logo as most company logos are animated and has become a tradition between production companies; therefore we wanted to imitate big companies like "20th Century Fox" and "Columbia Pictures" which all feature a simple animated logo. Also there's a sort of professionalism to an animated logo, people are more attracted to the small details hence why big companies utilize this feature.
The company name is not present during the animation, this is due to an error in the colouring of the text. The text colour is a solid black but this is also the same colour of the background thus causing the text to blend in; however I did not want to change this as I found it more interesting to keep the Logo as is, to create a mysterious atmosphere which our film is based on therefore creating a link between the production company and the film.
Also another noticeable item is that there is "volumetric light" being emitted from the logo, this signifies the light spreading the darkness, greatly represents our tagline "Go Beyond The Dark" and also nicely highlights the logo. Moreover, the dimming of the light creates a good transition into a fade thus allowing for an easy transition into the opening sequence.

Above is the editing process for the creation of the static logo which will be used for marketing and also the animated logo, which will be used within the opening sequence.
I was already proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud programs which include Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects thus lead me to firstly create the logo on Photoshop then use After effects to animate the subtle movement and volumetric light; finally, I used Premiere Pro to edit the recording as well as speed the clip up thus resulting in a speed art/time-lapse.
