This is a screen-capture of our "Thriller Mood-board". The video has been sped up to less than 10 mins as leaving the footage unedited would've lasted 43 mins roughly.
We wanted to show how we created our mood-board through this video as we thought it was a creative way to exhibit the aforementioned product.
We incorporated various images to try and get our ideas across to the audience hence why we have included many detectives (The protagonist from the UK Tv drama "Luther"), knives and also images of "abused" females.
We have two mood-boards to try and incorporate the many ideas we had for our opening sequence. Both with similar images but give different "atmospheres" as the second implies that the mood-board is the product of a character's twisted psyche - this can be seen through the soft edges that the images have in contrast with the sharp edges the first one has.
Also, the "Thriller" lettering in the second reinforces this idea as it can be implied that the character we want to create is childish as the use of bright and "mismatched" letters creates this thought. Finally, the common theme within both mood-boards is the constant presence of "dark" images, meaning the images are often considered psychologically twisted.
