Task 3 - Mood Board

The mood board above is displaying some of the ideas we would like to include within our opening sequence. We are exploring the 'thriller' theme as it is unpredictable and an interesting genre to explore and research, as well as to film, with the cameras and other equipment available. The mood board itself is made with Photoshop and allows us to be our most creative with specific tools and features of the programme to form the mood board. Moreover, choosing to to explore the 'thriller' genre, has enabled us to create extreme scenarios that present the audience with many enigma codes. "THRILLER" has been created by using various fonts, allowing contrast between the word and the rest of the board. Other effective tools used, is the blurring between each of the images to portray a mysterious, gloomy theme. 

By exercising our skills we gained from using Photoshop, we further decided to produce our second and final mood board. For this one, we combined  ideas from our first with more understanding and knowledge of the thriller genre. Before producing the board, we watched an episode of "Luther", a British TV Drama. This is inspired us to not only include his character within the board, but the theme of the episode allowed us to come up with more mysterious ideas, based around the plot of the episode. We have also included images of abused teenagers, as our opening sequence plot, will be based around the tragedies which our associated with adolescent life.
